This research paper is about abusive language in The Fast and Furious movie. The data of this research paper are the utterances of abusive language in The Fast and Furious movie. In The Fast and Furious movie, there are twelve words of abusive language. The objectives of this research paper are to know the formation, the meaning, and the function of abusive language in The Fast and Furious movie. The writer uses qualitative method to analyze the data. To analyze the data, the researcher identifies the form of abusive language then formed it to the form of abusive language according to six varieties of abusive language by Hughes, and the last the researcher finds the meaning and the function by using speech act theory. The results of the study are: (1) There are twelve data of abusive language in The Fast and Furious movie. They are shit, damn, bastard, fool, crazy, stupid, dog, skank, bitch, pant, ass and fuck. (2) The formation of abusive language according to six varieties by Hughes are word related to sex organ, word from excrement, word from mental illness, word from name of animal, and word related to sex activity. (3) The meaning of abusive language in The Fast and Furious movie are according to the situation where the utterance uttered by the speaker, and the function of abusive language are to express angry feeling, to degrade someone, sex activity, and to call someone.

This research deals with abusive utterances in comedy movie manuscript. The aims of this research are to identify the form, to describe the implicature and to describe the politeness patterns of the abusive utterances in comedy movie manuscript. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The data source of this research is comedy movie manuscript, The Pacifier. The writer takes 37 data of abusive utterances in The Pacifier movie. The method of collecting data is documentation and the steps are reading, selecting and collecting, and coding the data. The method of analyzing data is descriptive technique. The analysis of the form is based on linguistic form, especially the types of sentences. While the analysis of implicature is by referring to the context of pragmatics. Then, the analysis of the politeness patterns is by using politeness principle. This study shows the variety of the form, implicature and politeness pattern of abusive utterances used in comedy movie manuscript. The variants of form of sentences are: (1) Declarative, (2) Interrogative, (3) Imperative and (4) Exclamatory. The implicature of the study covers implied meaning of conventional implicature and conversational implicature whose types are name-calling, denial, trivializing, accusing and blaming, withholding, discounting, judging and criticizing, undermining, ordering, and blocking and diverting. This research studies about interrogative utterances in Prophet Tradition of Bukhori. The data to be analyzed are interrogative utterances in the form of sentences. The writer takes the data from the Prophet Tradition of Bukhori especially in the Book of Oneness (Tawheed). There are two types of analysis: (1) The pattern of interrogative utterances, (2) The intention of interrogative sentence. In collecting the data, the writer uses documentation method by selecting the interrogative utterances which can be found in Prophet Tradition of Bukhori especially in the Book of Oneness (Tawheed). This research is aimed at describing the form and finding out the speaker’s intention of interrogative utterances. To achieve these objectives, he describes forms based on sentence categories and then he applies the speech act theory to justify the meaning. Having analyzed the data, the writer finds two patterns of interrogative utterances and the intention of interrogative utterances. The patterns of the interrogative utterances: (1) Yes-no question. The pattern of Yes-no question divided into three groups. They are simple sentence, complex sentence and compound-complex sentence. (2) Wh-question. The pattern of Wh-question divided into three groups. They are non-subject asking for C, asking for Adjunct and subject question. Related to the meaning, the he gets six kinds of meaning namely exclamating, advising, reminding, informing, admonishing and clarifying.
